This course takes the novice student thru the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship and into more advanced shooting techniques. Students will learn about choosing proper equipment, use of cover/concealment, engaging targets from the holster, proper shot placement and malfunction clearing.

Students who have completed Combat Pistol l, or equivalent course, will experience a very dynamic course of fire in CP2. Students will be introduced to new concepts and skills designed to increase speed, enhance efficiency using updated weapons handling procedures and improve accuracy while maintaining a focus on the combat application of each drill. Students will conduct a series of progressive training evolutions under instructor supervision in order to gain proficiency prior to the testing phase.
The testing phase will consist a series of individual timed skills and drills in weapons handling and marksmanship that have been developed to provide student’s with a solid benchmark of performance. Students will engaging all targets from a holster. Scenarios will include shooting from multiple advanced position incorporating cover, multiple target engagements, “shoot and move” and team target engagements with proper communication.

Introduces the student to the world of red dot sights on pistol platforms. Students will learn proper set up, zeroing, red dot fundamentals, proper target engagements as well as the benefits and limitations of the red dot sight on pistol platforms.

This Basic Carbine course has been developed to introduce students to AR/AK weapons platform, in order to properly handle, safely carry, control, and operate the carbine.
The course is designed to provide the entry-level shooter with a good understanding of firearms safety and the core skills of protective carbine employment. Students will gain vital knowledge on the AR/AK platform and ammunition selection for protective applications as well as the weapons capabilities and limitations.
Students will be challenged with techniques that will create a reliable and systematic foundation in shooting fundamentals preparing them for Level II training.

Natural progression from Carbine l, This course provides students will critical skills in combat carbine shooting and weapons handling specific to close quarters marksmanship as well as urban shooting skills and longer ranges.
Close quarters marksmanship includes rifle presentations and integrated combat considerations, rifle to pistol transitions, individual recovery drills, shooting while moving, trigger management, sight management as well as combat and tactical reloading procedures. The urban shooting module teaches students how to utilize cover effectively and tactically while adopting various firing positions.
Students will be trained in shooting skills from both sides of the body, how to operate the rifle with one hand when injured and how to control hemorrhage using a tourniquet. Students will also learn how to shoot, move and communicate during dynamic training evolutions that have been developed to increase situational awareness and link elements of competency together during realistic engagement scenarios.
